The Resolutions! Ah yes the Resolutions!
I made them and quickly and consistently broke them throughout the year. In fact I’m late making them this year. January 1, 2012 falls (fell depending on when you read this) on a Sunday. Seems like a good day to start fresh.

I love these Success Stories! Its awesome to see the changes in physique that people experience when they use the P90X system. Its evident that David experienced dramatic results wouldn’t you say? He made a decision, followed the system and got ripped! Its also apparent that more than just his physique changed. It sounds like his attitude changed for the better. He seemed more confident and comfortable in his physique. Naturally, if he was a coach to athletes, his message would probably be better received if he was in better shape. I think his message is being received now!

Doruk was a Professional Athlete who for one reason or another stopped his competitive rowing and started to gain weight. Like many of the other Success Stories that I’ve shared, Doruk found the P90X Infomercial. At first, like many others, he was skeptical. However, as he watched on and tried to find things that were wrong with it, he could not punch holes in it. Eventually, he ordered and went through the P90X System and achieved awesome results. Doruk shares that he achieved all his results in one 90 Day Round of P90X.

I hear countless stories like Casey’s. People in terrible shape and habitually doing things that are terrible for them until they make a decision to do something for themselves that is life changing. I’m a huge supporter of the P90X System, because it works. Take a look at the Casey’s Success Story and you can see the changes that his physique has gone through. The one benefit, other than the physical changes that I like to hear and enjoy is the increase in Energy that people get when they go through the P90X System.

Jerry D’s Success Story is an example of how someone overcame a classic case of ‘genetics’ by using P90X. We all have genetics that make up who we are. However, Jerry here, overcame some odds and mindset that he was limited by genetics and got rid of his gut and into the best shape of his life. He quickly learned what intensity was and how it stimulated his body to change. Jerry says that ‘never in a million years did I think I would push myself as hard as I did’. He describes his transformation after completing P90X as if he just climbed a mountain and saw the world for the first time.

Do you get bored at the gym? I know when I was going to the gym ( I still do occasionally ), that you can trapped in that boredom phase. Perhaps its timing or something else like having to wait on equipment. Whatever it is you get bored of the same routine or something and it prevents you from doing what you set out to do, and that is get a solid workout.

Foreshadowing 2011, I thought I would look into the future while I made my New Year Resolutions. The thing is, I hadn’t made any resolutions until sometime today after I read a post by Chris Brogan. You can read about my resolutions on my personal blog. I chose a few words to focus on as my keywords instead of ‘resolutions’. Those Keywords are ACTION, VALUE and PROGRESS.

P90X is a tough program. I couldn’t do everything Tony or the people in the videos were doing. I couldn’t do all the reps, but I did some. The next time around I pushed to ‘do one more’ or a ‘few more than the lest time’. This is progress. Make it a game of small successes.

I got on Shakeology back in November 2010 to help supplement my P90X workouts and I’m glad I did. I have trouble eating properly as often I am on the go. It seems like its nearly impossible to eat well at the Hospital. I know of all places, a hospital is a difficult place to eat well, especially when the day is packed full of patients to treat. I know, I should plan better and take more nutritious meals with me and it would probably be cheaper too. This is not always possible for me (probably another excuse) but this makes it much easier to just throw a packet or two into my back with a shaker cup and be on my way. I am learning to eat better and supplement my body as I work on transforming my body from the fat ass I was to my goal of being physically fit.
